LOCKDOWN 2020.

Flu can kill.
This one is like no other.
China was were it started,
spreading fast like a plague,
all around the world.

Panic, anguish and uncertainty.
It picks its victims one by one.
It becomes worse as time goes on.

The day has come when most of the world came to a standstill.
Isolation was forced upon us, imprisoned.
Shut in, trapped and lonely.
The virus is everywhere.
Unseen and deadly, advised to stay inside.

No contact with the outside world,
the only time we can go out,
is for food shopping and exercise.

To follow orders like good little soldiers:

Stay indoors, unless you need food or medicine.
Avoid croweded places.
Avoid physical contact.

Some obeyed, some did not listen and fell ill.

They tightened the rules for everyone and enforced the lockdown.
