The Aftermath
One good moment can shatter in an instant’s sway,
Leaving us unprepared for what’s to face today.
Life’s no manual with rules to abide;
We navigate by instinct, hopeing to glide.
Darkest times can birth a glimmering light,
A beacon through the storm, ending the night.
We bear burdens on our shoulders, year by year,
Yet, a single joy a blessing clear
Can lift the weight and bring us pease within.
